About SWAM

A new Aviation Museum being set up at St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. Very much in its infancy more exhibits are expected to arrive for display over the next few months and years with a Buccaneer and a DC-6 due to arrive in 2019. The museum is being set up by Gary Spoors (GJD Aircraft Services) and John Sparks (Horizon Aircraft Services) who both operate their businesses on the former RAF St Athan Airfield. Aimed at families with children and anyone else with an interest in aviation we hope to open our doors to the public at Easter 2019. When open the museum can be found at Hangar 872, Picketston Business Park, St Athan, Barry CF62 4QN, we look forward seeing you at SWAM.
